You told us you'd like an opportunity to go deeper with your students, and we listened!
SpringHill's lead weekend is set up to provide youth pastors an opportunity to pour into high school students and create a path of leadership development for them.
During this weekend we will provide curriculum, keynote speaker, worship, breakout speakers, activities, and opportunities for small group discussions.
If you have high schoolers in your youth group who not only show leadership potential, but have a desire to understand what it means to lead in their church, their friend group, and the world, this is the conference for them.
Brothers Walker started out singing in church when they were really little… and they still do! But they also love to write country songs and share original music everywhere they go. Their passion for Christ and love for entertaining are what drive them, but they don't take ourselves (or each other) too seriously, and it comes out in their shows. The band is just a couple of crazy brothers on stage and in real life! What you see is what you get… times two.
Brothers Walker were members of Team Usher on NBC's "The Voice" and have had the opportunity to share the stage with some amazing people, like Travis Tritt, Lee Brice, Johnny Cash, Crowder, Peter Furler, and Billy Dean. The duo feels so blessed to get to do what they love and can't wait to see what happens next!Learn more
Friday PM: Live Outside the Lines
Everyone wants to have input. We are surrounded by people and things that are trying to influence and shape us into what they think we should be, what they think our identity should be. But are these influences turning us into the leader that God wants us to be? God is calling us to follow His influence, to live outside the lines that others try to put us in. In this session we will also begin to talk about the key principles of leadership, focusing on love and character.
Saturday AM: Grow Outside the Lines
There is no "perfect leader". We live in a culture that is constantly changing. That means that if we are going to be successful leaders in our communities, we must continue to grow and develop, too. Great leaders never stop learning. We have to grow outside the lines, or risk being outdated and behind the times. What must we do to take the next step? In this session we will talk about the leadership principles of development, discipline, and consistency.
Saturday PM: Lead Outside the Lines
What is your passion? What is your vision? How is Christ calling you to use those, along with the skills and talents He has given you, to do work for His kingdom? As we lead outside the lines, things can get blurry and confusing. But having a firm knowledge of who we are in Christ and how He is leading us to lead others will help us succeed. As we continue our discussion on the leadership principles, we will take this time to focus on vision and passion.
Sunday AM: Build Outside the Lines
We've covered a lot this weekend and learned the importance of being an "Outside the Lines" kind of leader. But what do we do now? What is God calling us to do next? As a leader how do we build outside the lines. For our final session, we will talk about the leadership principles of recruiting, team building, commitment, and management.
