employment
Every college student needs a summer job, right? Instead of flipping burgers or being stuck in a factory somewhere, what about getting paid to ride a zipline? You have the opportunity this summer to hang with kids for one week in their summer that could change them for a lifetime.
SpringHill Camps has many exciting summer job opportunities at both the Michigan and Indiana locations. Applicants are placed where their talents best fit the SpringHill staff needs, rather based on the camp location.
Because SpringHill is a Christian camp, an evangelical Christian commitment
and lifestyle consistent with the organization's mission are required.
Within our mission, SpringHill is an EEO employer and encourages applicants
from under-represented groups. We offer competitive benefits.
why work at springhill
If getting paid to change young people’s lives, and having some fun while you’re doing it sounds like a great way to spend your summer, then SpringHill is your place to work.
Our mission is to change the lives of young people by creating environments and developing communities in which they experience the message of Jesus Christ within the context of personal loving relationships and memorable learning experiences. We currently have two properties, one in Evart, Michigan and one in Seymour, Indiana. Between the two properties, we host close to 14,000 campers during the summer.
Our summer camper program is for kids in 1st-12th grade. We group campers into elementary, junior high and high school and provide them with a unique program that is age-appropriate and relevant to the camper's place in life. We also have a "decentralized" focus. This means that much of our programming and relationship building is in the context of small groups. In addition, the campers enjoy activities, campfires, games and meals right alongside their counselors.
Running our summer camp program requires a wide variety of summer positions that are filled by 750 summer staff. All positions are compensated with a weekly, salaried rate with all housing and food costs covered.

past staff interested in volunteering

We need your help running activities like the climbing wall, zipline, tubing hill, crafts, paint ball, skate park, broom ball, game room, etc. We’ll provide your housing and meals, and help out with gas money – and you’ll start your volunteer weekend with a pizza party. All those in Michigan interested should contact Step Tol at stol@springhillcamps.com. All those in Indiana interested should contact Andrew Sitte at asitte@springhillcamps.com.
