Youth Worker Retreat
SpringHill desires to provide quality training for youth and
children's volunteers and pastors, setting up teams with the ability to
succeed in ministry throughout the year.
We're doing this by bringing in Mark Oestreicher, a recognized expert in
the field of youth and children's ministries who will lead sessions and
challenge volunteers and pastors with new ideas and strategies. We're
also utilizing our programming knowledge, youth and children's
expertise, and team-building facilities to teach leaders essential
skills, give them programming ideas, and bring them together as a team.
We're also offering specific break-out sessions to address more
specific topics in youth and children's ministry.

Vision
We want to see children and teens flourishing in their relationship
with Christ year round, and think this is best accomplished through
partnerships with local churches and families.
This retreat is geared for not just youth and children's pastors but
the volunteers who help with youth and children's ministries. The
purpose of this retreat is to equip these workers with skills that will
help them be successful in their roles. Additionally, we will use the
retreat to build relationships between members of a ministry team
(through shared experiences, team building elements, and just fun!) and
give youth pastors (the leaders of these teams) a chance to communicate
their vision to their teams and time to develop objectives for the year
or time to create the culture they want to see in their groups.
