New Frontiers Kitchen Expansion is complete!

The New Frontiers Kitchen Expansion and Renovation was designed to enhance the experience of campers of all ages while attending SpringHill. This newly expanded kitchen serves as SpringHill Michigan’s main kitchen - serving over 10,000 campers through winter retreats and summer camp meals in New Frontiers!

The old kitchen was built in 1974 and was still being used until last year, serving more than triple its intended capacity. The kitchen renovation has added 4,500 square feet to the kitchen, which includes more efficient freezer and dry-storage space, updated kitchen equipment and additional bathrooms. Further seating in the dining room has also been added allowing for an even greater serving capacity. This project cost $900,000, and thanks to the generous support of our friends and partners we were able to complete this wonderful expansion!
